Matter and Anti-Matter
Prior to the Quran philosophers thought that the atom was the smallest indivisible component of matter. However today we know that this was false. Atoms are composed of electrons, neutrons and protons. And it has been discovered  that those neutrons  and protons are made of quarks. 1400 years ago the Quran contradicted the common knowledge of the time. For centuries philosophers thought that only humans were rational while animals only followed instinct. This false belief was so entrenched in Arabs that they included it in their grammar, referring to humans as rationals and all other animals, plants and inanimate objects as irrational. However, today scientists have confirmed that animals do not act by instinct alone, as the arabs thought, but rather animals have their own logic and communication systems. Click here for more
