Prophet Muhammad’s Love for Imam Hassan 

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him & his progeny) loved his grandson dearly. One day, the prophet was praying in a mosque and Imam Hassan came to him while he was in prostration, and sat on his back and then his neck. The prophet (peace be upon him & his progeny) upraised carefully until Hassan got off of him. After prayer, some Muslims said, “O’ messenger of God! You are doing to this boy what you do to no other.” The Prophet (peace be upon him & his progeny ) replied, “He is my sweet basil.”
