Angels and Hussain 

When Hussain was born, God orders the angel Gabriel to descend to Earth with a thousand other angels to congratulate Lady Fatima, Hussain’s mother. And so Gabriel and the rest of the angels descended on an island and saw an angel named Fitrus, who was sent by God but slowed down until God got mad at him and broke his wings, stranding him on that island for a long period of time. Fitrus spent 700 years worshiping God in the island, until Hussain was born. When he saw Gabriel he asked him, “Brother, where do you want to go?” Gabriel replied, “God has blessed the Prophet of mankind, Muhammad (PBUH&P), with a newborn from his daughter Fatima, and sent me to congratulate him on behalf of God”.

​Fitrus said, “O’ Gabriel, I have stayed in this island for 700 years, my heart has clenched and my patience has ran out. I want you to carry me to the prophet (PBUH&P), perhaps he will pray for me for  good health and intercede for me with God about binding my broken wing”. Gabriel asked for permission from God and was granted it. Gabriel carried him on the edge of his wing and entered upon the prophet (PBUH&P). He congratulated him and told him about Fitrus, and the prophet (PBUH&P) replied, “O’ Gabriel, tell him to brush his broken wing on this newborn and come back to me”. So the angel brushed his broken wing on Hussain and it healed, and Fitrus returned as strong as ever.

He said, “O’ prophet of God, you must know that your nation kills this son of  yours, and as a reward from me, I shall let him know about each person’s visit to him, each person’s salutation upon him, and each person’s  prayer on him”. Then he flew to the sky saying, “Who is as fortunate as I am? I am emancipated by Hussain son of Fatima and his grandfather, the prophet”. It was said that this angel is now known as Hussain’s servant.
